Young Men #27 is a fascinating look at the post-WWII exploits of the Golden Age's most popular heroes — with Human Torch, Sub-Mariner, and Captain America each taking on wild threats in solo stories (despite that amazing cover by Carl Burgos). "No One Can Stop the Hypnotist" pits the Torch against an unexpectedly demonic bad guy, while Sub-Mariner meets ghosts while thwarting Communist spies in "The Treasure of Captain Derelict." There's also the retconned Captain America tale of "The Return of the Red Skull," where Cap and Bucky (or, really, their '50s substitutes) foil their archenemy the Red Skull — who's really Communist agent (and '50s substitute) Albert Malik in his final appearance!
