This impressive Neal Adams cover sets up one of DC's biggest keys of the Bronze Age, featuring the first appearance of Talia Al Ghul--daughter of Batman mysterious nemesis Ra’s Al Ghul. The character would later become a proper pop-culture figure after Marion Cotillard's big-screen portrayal of the villainess in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. In the comics, Talia would become an on-again, off-again love interest for Bruce Wayne/Batman, as well as a fearsome and deadly adversary.
