Artists Information

Angel Medina is a comic book artist and illustrator. He began his career illustrating such titles as Berserker and Megaton at Megaton Comics. He subsequently worked for First Publishing on such titles as Dreadstar and Hammer of God in the late 1980s before working at Marvel Comics on The Incredible Hulk, Warlock and the Infinity Watch, Avengers and the Amazing Spider-Man. The artist eventually came to Image Comics and began illustrating Sam and Twitch, a spinoff of the title Spawn. Medina later illustrated Spawn itself and Kiss: Psycho Circus, based on the rock music group Kiss.

Erik Larsen is an American comic book artist, writer and publisher. He first gained critical acclaim for his work at Marvel Comics on the Amazing Spider-Man. In 1992, he and six other illustrators left Marvel to form Image Comics, where Larsen launched a series featuring a reworked version of Savage Dragon. This version was a massively muscled green amnesiac, who joined the Chicago police department after being discovered in a burning field. Initially debuting as a three-issue miniseries, the series met with enough success to justify a monthly series, launched in 1993. Savage Dragon is one of two original Image Comics titles still published (the other being Spawn) and the only one still written and drawn by its creator, making Savage Dragon – one of the longest running creator-owned superhero comic series of all-time. The character was also adapted into an animated series for USA Network in 1995.

Mike Gustovich is an American comic book artist, he created the superhero team Justice Machine in 1981, which went on to be featured in comics from several publishers. He inked most of the 1990's Milestone Media series Icon (written by Dwayne McDuffie and penciled by M.D. Bright). Specializing primarily in inking, he produced art for dozens of series for various publishers, including Marvel Comics, DC Comics, First Comics, Comico, and Eclipse Comics.

Tim Dzon is a veteran comic book artist who specialized in cover art and inks. Tim's notable works include the Avengers: West Coast, The Flash and Fantastic Four: Unplugged.
