"All They Want To Do Is Kill You, Spider-Man" Part 1 of 3. Script by Denny O'Neil. Art by John Romita Jr. (breakdowns) and Jim Mooney (finishes). Cover by John Romita Jr. and Al Milgrom. The forces of evil are gathering! And the plot begins with a prison break at Rykers Island! A mysterious villainess breaks the Wizard out of maximum security! Why? Because she wants deadly revenge against her hated enemy and Spider-Man too! The Wingless Wizard kicks off the attack by dispatching a spider robot to the World Trade Center to engage the web-slinger! After that doesn't work, he switches to plan B: set Peter Parker's apartment building on fire! Wow, this is getting very serious...and very personal!

Artists Information

Al Milgrom is an American comic book writer, penciler, inker and editor, primarily for Marvel Comics. He is known for his 10-year run as editor of Marvel Fanfare; his long involvement as writer, penciler, and inker on Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man; his four-year tenure as West Coast Avengers penciler; and his long stint as the inker of X-Factor. He often inked Jim Starlin’s work. Milgrom is the co-creator of DC superhero Firestorm.

James Noel Mooney was an American comics artist best known for his long tenure at DC Comics and as the signature artist of Supergirl, as well as a Marvel Comics inker and Spider-Man artist, both during what comics historians and fans call the Silver Age of comic books. He sometimes inked under the pseudonym Jay Noel.
