The typically awesome cover art by Jack Kirby on this issue encases a tale concerning one Professor Zaxton and his duplication machine. As can be gleaned from the cover, Thor is duplicated by the ne'er-do-well scientist, and has to do battle with his doppleganger, as well as another duplicate, several airplanes, and eventually ends up with a reverse duplicate of the mad scientist, who is now sane and a good guy. The story features the reliable and unique pencils and inks of Marvel long-time mainstay Joe Sinnott, who gets his chance to draw multiple Thors in this action-packed issue.
