In 1979, the illustrated fantasy novel Urshurak was published. Written by Jerry Nichols and illustrated by the Brothers Hildebrandt, this novel was on the New York Times bestseller list for six weeks!
Decidon is one of the main villains in Urshurak. As leader of the White Elves, he is not suspected of being a traitor until the moment he captures Gwynn. He is a self absorbed narcissist, and a servant of Torgon, the great foe of the novel.
