SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – With Comic-Con International back in San Diego for their first in-person event since 2019, a lot of comic related businesses and fans will be experiencing things related but outside the official convention.
When it comes to comics, Vince Zurzolo is a marvel (pun intended).
As a kid in the ’70s, he scrounged nickels and dimes from the family’s couch to buy comic books, never dreaming that he would one day lead www.ComicConnect.com, the nation’s top online auction site for comics and collectibles and www.MetropolisComics.com. Comic Connect holds six Guinness world records for comics bought and sold. Stephen Fishler, Vincent’s partner, devised the grading system for comic books that is still used today.
Zurzolo brought in some of his favorite comics to show off and explain how they are valued with KUSI’s Paul Rudy on Good Morning San Diego.
