WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
"If there is a comic, and I do mean ANY comic I am looking for, I go to MetropolisComics.com first. It's the #1 site on my favorites list. If Metropolis doesn't have it, I get bummed because even if I do get lucky and find it somewhere else, the book will pale in comparison to anything I get from Metropolis."

Fox Business - Investing in Comic Books
November 15, 2007 - During a round table discussion, Jack Hough of SmartMoney.com, and Jim Lebenthal of Alexandra & James Co. discuss their analysis of comic book investing.

Jack stated that since others have more knowledge of comics he doesn't like his chances of making money in comics. Vincent countered Jack by stating that investors need to do their homework much like they would with a more traditional investment. He runs out of time before he can counter Jim's objection. If he had the time, he would have explained that comics are liquid investments, that Metropolis Collectibles spends millions each year on comics and also offers a consignment service for sellers looking to maximize the potential value of their comic book. It should also be noted that you have to be realistic in your expectations, just as you cannot sell a $100 share in stock of a company at $200, you cannot sell a $100 comic for $200.

If you would like to learn more about how you can invest in comics, please email Vincent directly at vincentz@metropoliscomics.com.
